Halloween is fast approaching! Last week we created a recipe that would be fun for the whole family to make: Candied Apple Recipe. We're sticking with that theme and have created festive Halloween Vanilla Cupcakes.

However, these are no ordinary cupcakes! We've creatively added a special ingredient to really make them stand out: caramel squares! We've baked them into the bottom of the cupcake so upon your bite, you're surprised with an ooey-gooey center.

Have tons of fun with food coloring and toppings for the frosting. Use all sorts of candy to give it that perfect Halloween feel!

Other than trick-or-treating itself, there is no better way to get into the spirit of Halloween. It's easy to make, just mix all the ingredients together and put on the stove. Once the mixture has turned syrupy simply dip the apples and let cool.

October is such a fun time of year. The weather is changing, the leaves are dancing, and the holidays are beginning! Give them a good kick start with some great family fun!
