The Rodelle Challenge 2011 Contest Rules

The sweepstakes: From October 1st, 2011 through December 25th, 2011 Rodelle will promote, by means of online advertising and media outlets across the USA and Canada. The opportunity to submit entries to win one of 3 grand prizes and 3 runners up prizes as detailed below. The entries to be posted on Facebook. Entering is permission to use content as Rodelle sees fit.

Eligibility: Any individuals (including but not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors, and interns) who have, within the past six months, performed services for Rodelle or any organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the contest or supplying the prize, and/or their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, and immediate family and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or play. "Immediate family members" shall mean parents, stepparents, children, stepchildren, siblings, stepsiblings, or spouses. "Household members" shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months in one calendar year.

How to enter: (i) Post your baking moment or story onto Rodelle’s Facebook page, start the post with My Rodelle Moment, on or before December 25th 2011 or (ii) or email entry to info@rodellekitchen.com

How to win: The Grand Prize winner will be selected by the Rodelle team based on creativity, and how moving, impressive or humorous the entry is. In the event that the original Grand Prize winner does not meet Official Rules or eligibility requirements, or he/she or parent or legal guardian forfeits the prize, and Rodelle will award prize to first alternate. Process will continue until prizes are awarded.

All entries must be received on or before December 25th, 2011. The selection will be announced on January 1st, 2012. Decision of the judges is final. The prize winners will be notified by email and/or Facebook.

By entering, each contestant agrees to be bound by the rules. Rodelle and its promotional agents are not responsible for illegible, lost, delayed or misdirected mail, errors in faxes or shipments, busy phone signals, or incomplete entries.

Grand Prize: (3) Grand Prize winners will each receive one of each of the following, each month of one year. 8 oz Pure Vanilla Extract, 4 oz Organic Vanilla Extract, 10 Vanilla Beans, 8 oz Vanilla Sugar, 2 oz Lemon extract, 2 oz Almond Extract, 2 oz Anise Extract, and 8 oz Baking Cocoa and a Kitchenaid Electric Mixer. Approximate total value of the grand prize is $1400.
Runners Up: (3) Runners up will receive one of each of the following, each month of one year. 8 oz Pure Vanilla Extract, 8 oz Baking Cocoa, 10 Vanilla Beans. Approximate total value of the runner up prize is $600.

The Grand Prize is non-transferable. There may be no cash or other substitutions of prizes by winner. However, Rodelle reserves the right to substitute similar prizes of equal or greater value in the event the above prize is unavailable for any reason.

Winner or Parent or legal guardian of prize winner must sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release and Indemnification Form ("the Form") that : a) releases, indemnifies and holds harmless Rodelle its parent, affiliated, subsidiary and successor companies, and its respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives, advertising agencies and promotional sponsors (collectively the "Release") from and against any and all harm, expense, liability or injury that may be sustained relating to or arising from participation in the sweepstakes or acceptance or use of the prize; and b) authorizes the Releasee to use the winners' names, likenesses, photographs, voices and biographical data for any purpose, in any media, unless prohibited by law.

Prize will not be released until Rodelle receives all required documents. Failure of prize winners to return the forms within the required time frame will result in automatic forfeiture of any prizes and all such prizes shall be awarded to an alternate winner. In the event of a prize forfeiture, the winner or parent or legal guardian of the winner forfeiting prize will sign a Prize Forfeit Form and return to Rodelle within ten (10) days of receiving the Form.

Unforeseen Events: Rodelle reserves the right to change this sweepstakes at its sole discretion at any time that Rodelle become aware of any circumstances or occurrence which would materially affect the sweepstakes security or fairness. Rodelle reserves the right to announce any sweepstakes rules changes online, in print or posters. Rodelle is not responsible for the inability of the winner to accept the prize for any reason.
