Bright, refreshing lemonade with a touch of vanilla and a pop of mint! Perfect for cooling off on those warm summer days when you need to beat the heat!

                            Ingredients
For Vanilla Mint Syrup
- 1 cup water
 - 1 cup granulated white sugar
 - 1 tbsp Rodelle Vanilla Extract
 - ¼ tsp Rodelle Peppermint Extract
 
For Lemonade
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
 - 1 cup vanilla mint syrup
 - 4 cups cold water
 - 6-8 Fresh mint leaves, chiffon cut
 
Optional Additions
- 1 cup Strawberries (optional)
 - 40% ABV Gin or Vodka

Directions
- Add sugar and water for syrup into a pan. Cook on medium heat until sugar is dissolved and just starts to boil, then remove from heat.
 - Allow syrup to cool completely by placing in fridge to cool while juicing lemons and cutting mint
 - Add vanilla and peppermint extract to cooled syrup. Mix thoroughly before using.
 - Combine syrup, lemon juice, cold water, and mint leaves. Stir until well incorporated.
 - Pour over ice with slices of fresh lemon and enjoy!
 
Notes:
- Add a cup of chopped strawberries to your simple syrup as it cooks down for to make Vanilla Mint PINK Lemonade!
 - For a refreshing adult beverage, add in a shot of 40% ABV Gin or Vodka to the lemonade before serving, drink responsibly!
