Bright, refreshing lemonade with a touch of vanilla and a pop of mint! Perfect for cooling off on those warm summer days when you need to beat the heat!

Ingredients

For Vanilla Mint Syrup

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup granulated white sugar
  • 1 tbsp Rodelle Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ tsp Rodelle Peppermint Extract

For Lemonade

  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 cup vanilla mint syrup
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 6-8 Fresh mint leaves, chiffon cut

Optional Additions

  • 1 cup Strawberries (optional)
  • 40% ABV Gin or Vodka

Directions
  1. Add sugar and water for syrup into a pan. Cook on medium heat until sugar is dissolved and just starts to boil, then remove from heat.
  2. Allow syrup to cool completely by placing in fridge to cool while juicing lemons and cutting mint
  3. Add vanilla and peppermint extract to cooled syrup. Mix thoroughly before using.
  4. Combine syrup, lemon juice, cold water, and mint leaves. Stir until well incorporated.
  5. Pour over ice with slices of fresh lemon and enjoy!

Notes:

  • Add a cup of chopped strawberries to your simple syrup as it cooks down for to make Vanilla Mint PINK Lemonade!
  • For a refreshing adult beverage, add in a shot of 40% ABV Gin or Vodka to the lemonade before serving, drink responsibly!
